Faculty & Staff

Arla Markael purchased North Idaho Massage Academy because she fell in love with the students and staff. Arla, who is heart centric, gets excited at how this education helps heal people physically and emotionally.  An educator herself, with her Bachelors in Secondary Education from University of Idaho, Arla deeply appreciates the educational process that students go through as massage therapists, and seeks to make it as beneficial as possible.  Arla loves that students can graduate from NIMA debt free, and with a skill that changes lives, while providing great income for the therapists.  She also came into this school having owned several businesses in the past, so is a well rounded part of the team.

Jennifer MolinaJennifer Molina, LMT has been practicing massage since 2009 and graduated from American Institute of Clinical Massage, in Post Falls, Idaho. She is passionate about the many benefits of massage and finds it a privilege to be an integral part of her clients health and wellness. She continually pursues education to deepen and broaden her abilities so that she may pair the many modalities she is trained in, to the specific needs of her clients; Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, pregnancy and La Stone therapy are her specialties.

She feels honored in caring for each individual and their needs, within her care.

Hannah is a graduate of North Idaho Massage Academy. She has been a licensed massage therapist for 4 years and is the head therapist at the Highland North Day Spa. Hannah chose massage therapy because she wants to help her clients, friends and family live a life with less pain, quicker recovery time after injuries, and overall better health with less anxiety!

Heidi Rasor, a LMT since 2004, is our esteemed Clinic Supervisor and Director of Education.  Heidi has a passion for working with students and brings many years of experience and wisdom to the table.  She furthered her education with over 1,000 additional training hours after attending massage school and holds numerous advanced certifications.

Robert Miko joined the team August 1, 2021.  Robert brings over 30 years of massage and teaching massage courses at the college level.  Robert has a PHD in Acupuncture, and attended massage school in Canada where he graduated from a 2,000 hour program.  He has traveled the world doing massage as well as did massage for Olympic staff.  He brings an incredible amount of experience to the table, having rubbed shoulders with world renowned massage therapists. Robert can teach any class, but at NIMA has expertise and knowledge has really advanced the Anatomy Physiology and Pathology 102 (medical) courses.
